Welcome to St. Paul’s
St. Paul’s Lutheran School offers an individualized education for preschool and elementary age children in a small classroom setting that emphasizes excellence in all we do. We also serve children with our Little Saints Early Childhood Center that offers full day childcare for infants to school age children.
The purpose of St. Paul’s Lutheran School is to spiritually and academically develop an inquiring mind that asks questions, seeks answers, challenges, recognizes change, and continues lifelong learning. Guided by Christian principles students grow academically, morally, socially, and spiritually.
It will be the policy of St. Paul’s Lutheran School to first and foremost maintain a close link with the church. The school does not exist by or for itself, but always as an extension of the congregation of St. Paul’s. Nor is it the school’s intent to assume the home’s God-given responsibility for the Christian training of its children; rather, the school acts as a partner and means of assistance outside the home.
Philosophy of Education
St. Paul’s Lutheran School will create an environment which emphasizes personal Christian growth and service to God and community. We believe that every person is a unique gift from God, created by the Father, saved by the Son, and nurtured by the Holy Spirit. Parents have the primary responsibility for the Christian upbringing of their children. God told the Israelites in Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “these commandments that I give you today are to be upon your heart. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you lie down and when you get up.” God tells us in Proverbs 22:6 “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he won’t turn from it.”
