2020-2021 School Year Message
The past Spring, COVID-19 caused SPLS to move from in school instruction to distance learning in a matter of a few days. Our staff did an amazing job of continuing to provide our students with an excellent, CHRIST-CENTERED education despite the challenging circumstances.
Community has always been an important part of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School. That strong sense of community (students, parents, educators, and supports) allowed us to finish the 2019/2020 school year strong. The partnership between parents and staff allowed for our mission to continue moving forward and allowed students to succeed and grow even in the face of adversity.
It has become clear that St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School needs to protect our sense of community by doing everything we can to open our doors for in-school learning on September 8th. Community is what makes this “house a home”. Therefore, we are committed to doing everything possible to ensure that SPLS remains in-school throughout the 2020-2021 school year.
We are dedicated to the physical and spiritual health, as well as the safety of our students and staff. While our response to COVID-19 may change certain aspects of day-to-day learning, our sense of community will remain firm and our dedication to our mission remains the same… to be responsive disciples of Jesus Christ.
